We were absolutely delighted to welcome children’s author Sean Perkins to our school this morning, as he came to promote his wonderful new book, “Oscar and Ben: The Sleepover.”

Sean led a fantastic whole-school assembly where he brought the story to life by reading aloud the story. The children were completely captivated as they were introduced to the characters of Oscar and Ben, sharing in their excitement and adventures. But the highlight of the visit had to be when Sean got the entire school signing!

The hall was filled with energy, laughter and enthusiasm as pupils joined in, making it a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.
What a fantastic bucket list moment ticked off for our school community! We are so grateful to Sean for inspiring our children, sparking a love of reading, and creating such a joyful and engaging experience.
Thank you, Sean – we hope to see you again soon! 🙌📖

Yesterday, as part of our sports week celebrations, Mr Pearce took 18 children to a football competition. Everyone got something out of it and thoroughly enjoyed the day. It was another amazing part of our super sports week!
