A fab day today at Downley Day with our jar and sweet tombola and getting the chance to chat to families old and new about our wonderful preschool and the fact that we will be starting Forest School in September. It’s always great getting out into our community! Thank You to staff and parents/grandparents that came along to help on the stall we couldn’t do it without you! 💚

We kicked off our week by baking cherry scones in tiny trees club. Lots of team work as we measured, mixed, kneaded and moulded our scones ready to bake and take home to share. 🍒
450g self-raising flour
2tsp baking powder
75g butter
50g caster sugar
2 eggs
225ml of milk
150 g of glacé cherries
