Don't you just love scouting in the Summer; Friday 20th June was a super Friday, with all our sections out and about:
Cubs were at Longridge building rafts
Boy Scouts were backwoods cooking
Girl scouts had a scavenger hunt, then went home wet after a water fight
Our new partner ESU, Al-Nusoor had a great archery session hosted by 5th High Wycombe Scouts Group

Huge thanks to all the volunteers across all the sections

Congratulations to Al-Nusoor Explorers for holding their inaugural session earlier this evening. Jazakโ€™Allahu khaire to all the leaders who have worked tirelessly for months to make this happen. May Allah make it successful for all those involved.

Special thanks to the UK Muslim Scout Fellowship and Buckinghamshire Scouts teams for all the support and guidance.

Please keep us all in your du'ahs.

WISE's community iftar yesterday was a beautiful display of community spirit and warmth.

A large guest turnout enjoyed an evening filled with engaging presentations, personal stories, and shared fellowship.

After a welcome address by the Imam, the Cubs delighted the audience with a Ramadan presentation and Kahoot! quiz to test their knowledge of the blessed month. A Muslim revert presented his experience of Ramadan, and this led to the breaking of fast, Maghrib prayer, and a communal meal.

Our deepest thanks to our wonderful hosts (WISE), scouting and non-scouting guests from across the county, and all the invaluable volunteers who made the night a success.

We came runners up in the Plant Defenders! Competition. With thanks to Chiltern Rangers CIC , Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust - BBOWT and of course The Hive for your collaborative support in this project.

I'm sure the community bees will appreciate the efforts.

We were honoured and privileged to have Navaid Aziz visit an all-sections meeting. We covered a huge array of topics, from the lessons to be learnt from the Companion Muadh b. Jabal (RA), basketball, Canadian cities and weather, computer games and much much more. Comment below if you know the Sheikh's favourite hadith - clue, the number is linked to one of the topics we discussed tonight...

We planted some bulbs and then did a group wide litter pick in the local area around The Hive. We ran a boys versus girls competition. The girls were victorious inspired and directed by the help from Julia Wassell

We had the privilege to visit Trefriw in August, staying at the Cornel Scout Centre. The weather was not great, but we had a superb time with the activities run by Blue Peris.

Special thanks to the leaders and Shanly Foundation for giving us all this opportunity.
