Spinning with the Winnicorn is a new, inclusive wellness experience created by local fitness coach Winnie Ikediashi designed to re-ignite motivation, confidence, and self-belief at any stage of your fitness journey.

On Friday 7th February, I’m hosting a free promotional spin event called RE-IGNITION at Rogue Cycle (near Brighton Station).

No spin experience needed beginners to spin lovers all welcome.

Growing up in Nigeria, I experienced firsthand the joy and vibrancy that food brings to any occasion. It's a cultural cornerstone, a testament to our love for life and community. However, upon moving to the United Kingdom, I noticed a lack of African cuisine in the culinary landscape. It prompted me to fuse my Nigerian heritage with British influences, creating a culinary journey reflecting cultural diversity's beauty.

As I read about dishes like tender, buttery spicy cow tongue seasoned with traditional Hausa spice and served with a creamy bone marrow emulsion, my taste buds come alive with anticipation. It's a poetic description that captures the essence of Nigerian cuisine—an explosion of flavours that tantalizes the senses.

Here in Brighton and Hove, I see the fusion and movement of African cuisine making its mark, one delicious dish at a time. Mama Bubbles Kitchen has been at the forefront of this movement, serving authentic homemade food that showcases a fusion of cultures and spices. From partnering with local pubs and schools to catering weddings and corporate events, we've been spreading the joy of Nigerian flavors throughout the city.
