DofE update... All students completed and probably home now resting! Superb effort from all of you Year 9! Over 100 Year 9 students have now completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Expedition 👏 huge thanks to the amazing staff who enabled this expedition to run so smoothly too! 👏

DofE update .... It was a magical evening with a super clear sky, marshmallows by the fire and a warm night - what we wished for! Year 9, you have been amazing. Good luck today with your Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Day 2! 👏

DofE update... All students have cooked their dinner and are now washing up. There were hot dogs, pasta, couscous with black beans, pasta, vegetables, macaroni, spaghetti and more pasta!

What a day! 65 Year 9 students completed day 1 of their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Expedition! Staff were so busy at checkpoints that there was little time to post photos until now! They have been amazing - the weather has thrown everything at them today but the sun is now shining brightly for tea time! ☀️

We are holding a Fidget Toys and Tuck shop to raise money for AMAZE charity, supporting families with disabled children and young people in Sussex

This Pride Month, Year 7 and 8 students are invited to a creative after-school poetry workshop at Hove Park.

A chance to explore identity, belonging and self-expression, students will create their own Colours of Me rainbow poem and contribute to a display celebrating what makes our community special.

No poetry experience is needed, materials are provided, and students can keep their poem anonymous if they prefer.

A calm, creative space to reflect, write and be yourself.

Year 8 were fantastic on Friday on their trip to the University of Sussex with , finding out more about Higher Education and what University life is like. They buddied up with current student ambassadors from who talked to them about their experiences on Campus, and took part in a tour of the University, including the student centre, library and lecture theatres. They then had a taster session of a Theatre/Drama Studies seminar where our students made their own mood boards based on ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’; the workshop team were really impressed with the high quality of content produced! Well done Year 8!
