In the Learning Zone this afternoon Year 3 became Roman soldiers. They marched, defended themselves in a turtle maneuver, battled and even did a secret attack on Mrs Davies! 🛡️

🔍🌿 Year 2 became microhabitat explorers as they ventured around the school grounds as part of their Science learning! From under logs to among the leaves, they searched for tiny habitats and discovered the fascinating creatures that call them home. 🐞🪱🍂

Another fun filled afternoon in Forest School, with lots of teamwork, resilience, independent learning and reflection. What a fantastic afternoon 🌳🌳🪻🌻🐛🐞

Flower dissection in Year 3 today! We learnt the names of the parts of our flower and then identified and sorted them onto the mat. In our next lesson we will find out more about what important job each part does!

Year 2's last gardening session for the year. They were rewarded by taking home the vegetables they had grown. Mrs Davies and Mrs Martin are proud of you all. Well done Year 2 you've all been amazing 😀

A very wet Forest School this afternoon so we took the outside inside!

A huge thank you and well done to the Year 2 gardeners and their parents who came to help with a local community litter pick. 5 bags of litter collected! 🚮

Thank you to all who supported the Eco Team's plant sale. They have grown all plants from seeds. All funds go towards future eco projects.They will be selling again tomorrow after school, so grab a bargain and have a beautiful garden this summer. Plants start from 50p. 🌷🪻🌻
