I do like a well stocked fridge! The oven has been used so much today. One little girl asked,
“ Where do the eggs go?”
I asked where her Mummy puts real eggs at home?
“Mummy pops the eggs in the fridge. “
So Maisie did too. 🥰

A beautiful fire station and engine. This has been played with a lot of over the last two days.
Fluffy animals have been rescued by the firefighters from different precarious situations. Love the “woo, woos” that accompany the play. 🚒

Thank you, thank you to everyone who voted for us at Shop4Neston. As you know we were awarded some money and have now been able to upgrade our role play area. A fridge, sink, washing machine, Welsh dresser and some fun food sets. This morning a roast dinner was cooked by the children and a casserole dinner. Such fun.

Eric Carle was today’s author. The children love his stories particularly The Very Hungry Caterpillar 🐛

A lot of matching onto different colours for the children with this activity. We used elephants and the table was accessed by quite a few children today.

Start of summer fun in the Pre-School garden. Shells, fish, water and a fountain.

We’re exploring books this half term and finding out about the authors who wrote some of our favourite books.
Julia Donaldson is already a great favourite and known to the children.
Yesterday we enjoyed Judith Kerr’s The Tiger Who Came to Tea and Mog.

Our Easter Bonnet Parade ‘26.
So many thank yous to say to all the committee members who helped set up the hall and parents and grandparents to rolled their sleeves up to put tables and chairs out.
The Pre-Schoolers were rightly proud of their creations and held onto their hats tightly as we walked over to school.
The bonnets were amazing 🤩
We sang chick chick and Little Peter Rabbit and enjoyed an enormous amount of cake 🧁🥰

World Book Day ‘26
We have enjoyed a fantastic assortment of books. The children brought in books matching their costumes and thoroughly enjoyed the day.
We had 3 Elsa princesses, Batman, a scarecrow, a sheep and a unicorn, the highway rat, Bluey, two little mermaids, a fairy, two princesses.
Thank you to everyone (including the staff) for joining in.
