Today for our last swimming session we played Simon says, catch the ball and practiced laying on our backs!

🌞 Important Warm Weather Reminder

With today — and the rest of the week — set to be extremely warm, please help us keep children safe and comfortable:

• Leave jumpers and cardigans at home so children stay cool
• Apply long‑lasting factor 50 sun cream before school
• Send a refillable water bottle every day
• Provide a sun hat for outdoor play

If your child has a school trip this week, please ensure they take plenty of water and sun cream they can reapply themselves throughout the day.

This week, Year 3 practised their kicking skills in swimming using floats. The children worked hard to develop their leg strength, improve their technique, and build confidence in the water. Everyone showed great focus and determination while having fun learning new skills. Well done, Year 3! 🌟💦

Y2 threw themselves fully into the World Cup celebrations today! We spent part of the day learning about the country Brazil 🇧🇷 and we got creative by making flags and football kit designs. The highlight was dancing to our favourite world cup songs and showing of our footie skills! ⚽️ 🇧🇷

Y2 had another fantastic swimming lesson this week. Their confidence in the water has improved so much and their smiles and laughter were infectious. This week they practiced their kicking technique and blowing bubbles with their faces in the water. 🏊‍♂️MK SPORTS ACADEMY

WOW! Reception have had a fantastic day out at Imagine That! for their end of year trip! They had a busy day exploring the science area, making slime, taking part in science experiments, playing in the imagination village, painting fridge magnets and even creating snow that lasts forever! The children were brilliant and need a well deserved rest after today! Well done, Reception! 🤩👩‍🔬🧪❄️👏🏻

Today we had our World Cup celebrations! It was great to come together as a school to explore different countries, get creative with flag and football kit designs and dance to our favourite world cup songs! ⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Reception had another fantastic swimming session with MK SPORTS ACADEMY 🏊 They are continuing to grow in confidence in the water! Well done, Reception 👏🏻👏🏻

Today we celebrated the World Cup and year 1s team was ENGLAND! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 We began the day making England flags before finding out a little about the World Cup and heading outside for our very own parade! We danced, sang and had a lot of fun! Throughout the day, we learnt about our country, practiced some skills, did some themed activities and even learnt the waka waka that we then did together as a school to end the day! Year 5 have had such a fun World Cup day! We created flags for our chosen team of Japan, learned about Japan and it's culture, completed a 'beat the teacher' penalty shootout, had football drills and ended with a whole school celebration dance! ⚽
