I love perfume so much I spent a whole week out of the studio last year just illustrating the process. Um yeah slightly unhinged in hindsight.

They’re not my best natural drawings (thank you truly if you say they are lysm) but I know I got too in my head trying to make everything perfect for PERFUME bc it deserves it instead of just drawing how I normally do.

But I’m still proud of them. I bloody adore this industry.
It drives me mad, gives me creative anxiety half the time and still I’m completely addicted! Happy beauties, hasn’t it been an insanely lovely wk so far?!😘😘😘

Miss you Mum.

I always start the day ok then fall down a rabbit hole of photos/vids and miss you more and more.

But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to celebrate today. Because my g-d, I am constantly in awe of what mums and all the women who mother in their own way carry and do every single day.

I’m never not amazed that we all somehow rock up to the school gates each morning looking like together human beings. It’s SO much. And somehow we do it.

Wishing all the mums here the best ever Mother’s Day. Only the best smelling rose will do🌹

Maybe these things sound obvious or even like total no-brainers, but they are really important to me.

I never set out to be a ‘female founder’, I just loved perfume. went in totally naively and it’s been one of the best and hardest things I’ve ever done. These are some of the things I have to remind myself of almost EVERYDAY to keep going with confidence as a woman in this industry. I hope they might help you too.

What I do know for certain is that I would be nowhere without the extraordinary women in this world of perfume. Perfumery is a village and this one is full of brilliant women 💪

There are far too many to name, but Barnes Fragrance Fair (where vid on slide 4 was taken) might be the greatest concentration of them I could find on my phone.
