How to survive (and still enjoy) the festive break as a uni student 📝🎄

Because there’s nothing worse than sitting in your childhood bedroom and staring at that blank word document of doom, trying your best to tune out the background noise of your family enjoying the festivities…🙃

It’s all about finding a good balance that works for you, but remember to be realistic - it’s going to be different to your usual Christmas, but make the most of the opportunity to have time off, set aside some downtime and don’t let guilt ruin your fun ❤️

It's that time of year!!! Freshers - good luck, this is such an exciting new time of life. Remember any feelings are valid and that everyone has a different uni experience. ALSO a reminder that being sad when saying goodbye to your parents is ok but also feeling excited and ready is also OK. Making sure you've got your 16-25 railcard on hand for when you need a break from uni life and just need those home comforts made me feel a lot less homesick knowing I could just hop on the train home when I needed it!! Sending you all lots of love # # # AD
