π± Recipe Analysis 101 is the first course of its kind to combine comprehensive nutritional recipe analysis training with a dedicated module on carbon literacy and sustainable recipe analysis. ππ₯
Because in 2026, understanding the environmental impact of a recipe matters just as much as understanding its nutritional value. π¬β¨
And this skill has never been more relevant. As leading organisations including the BDA publish position statements on low carbon menus in the NHS and call for more sustainable meals across our healthcare system, nutrition professionals are increasingly being asked to lead this change in practice. This course gives you the knowledge and tools to do exactly that. π
What you'll learn:
β
How to analyse recipes from simple to complex with confidence
β
Food regulations, labelling, health claims & HFSS scores
β
How the food system impacts planetary and human health
β
How to calculate your recipe's carbon footprint
β
How to adapt recipes to be more sustainable for people and the planet
β
How to communicate environmental benefits confidently to your audience

NEW BLOG: Can supplements help prevent cancer? What health professionals need to know π¬π
During Cancer Prevention Action Week (15β21 June 2026), the World Cancer Research Fund is shining a spotlight on health misinformation under the theme Science not Fiction: Evidence Saves Lives. π§¬β¨
In our latest blog, by Rachel Clark, Health Promotion Consultant at World Cancer Research Fund, we unpack the science behind supplements and cancer prevention, including common misconceptions around vitamin D, antioxidants and multivitamins and what health professionals need to know to confidently communicate a food-first approach with their patients. π
And supplements are one of the biggest areas of confusion we see in practice. 44% of NHS patient-facing staff hear nutrition or supplement misinformation every week, rising to more than half of nurses and midwives. π’βοΈ
So what does the evidence actually say? π
πΉ For most people, eating a healthy balanced diet is more likely to help protect against cancer than taking dietary supplements
πΉ There is no strong evidence that most dietary supplements, including multivitamins, reduce cancer risk
πΉ High-dose beta-carotene supplementation has been shown to increase lung cancer risk in current and former smokers
πΉ Supplements are regulated as foods in the UK, not medicines, meaning manufacturers do not have to prove effectiveness before selling them
πΉ Up to 40% of cancer cases are preventable through diet, weight, physical activity and lifestyle, not supplements
π Free webinar alert! WCRF are hosting a free webinar, Supplements versus Food, on Wednesday 24 June, 12:30 - 1:30pm. Register via their Instagram page, they are tagged in this post!

π What does the future of food really look like and who is shaping it? π½οΈπ
We were proud to be represented at this year's Sustainable Gastronomy Day event hosted by Women In The Food Industry at Mercato Metropolitano Mayfair, a truly energising afternoon that brought together 18 leading voices from across food, hospitality and sustainability. π
Our Founder and CEO Tanya Haffner joined a panel of incredible changemakers to explore one of the most important questions of our time: how do we build a food system that is good for people and regenerative for the planet?
The conversations were honest, thought-provoking and deeply necessary. A few themes that resonated deeply with everything we do here at MyNutriWeb:
πΉ There are no single answers. We need multiple, interconnected solutions working together across sectors, disciplines and scales
πΉ Community and collaboration are not optional extras; they are core ingredients for transformation
πΉ Progress rarely comes from a single breakthrough it comes from many small efforts challenging the status quo and asking difficult questions
πΉ Power sits within all of us, and understanding how to leverage it, alongside policy and systems, is key to driving meaningful change
πΉ We need policy happening in tandem with collaborative grass roots action for to embed change into business as usualβs
At MyNutriWeb, we believe that healthcare and nutrition professionals are uniquely positioned as powerful agents of change, trusted by the public and working across multiple sectors of society. Driving forward a food system that supports human health, planetary health and equity is central to everything we stand for. π±
This is the work. And we are proud to be part of it. π
