The Pointer School

What a pleasure it was last Friday to watch our pupils take to the stage for the Dance Showcase.

From a wide range of dance styles to an incredible display of talent, every performance brought something unique. The audience was smiling throughout, completely drawn into the energy, creativity, and confidence on stage.

A heartfelt thank you to all our pupils, and to Mrs Beecham, who choreographed the performances, for such a wonderful show, and for sharing their hard work and enthusiasm so generously with us.

On Friday, we had the pleasure of hosting and taking part in the Annual Chess Tournament and are delighted to say that our boys team won!
It was fantastic to meet so many talented chess players and staff from across the other Duke’s schools. The day was filled with great matches, sportsmanship, and plenty of strategic thinking.

A huge well done to everyone who took part and helped make the event such a success. We’re already looking forward to next year! ♟️

The countdown is on! 🎭

Our talented pupils have been hard at work rehearsing for this year’s production of Shrek The Musical, coming to the Greenwich Theatre on 24th and 25th June.

A huge thank you, as always, to Mrs Kemp for her incredible dedication in organising and bringing these performances to life. We can’t wait to see our pupils shine on stage! ✨
