Yes it’s shocking, but it shouldn’t be. It’s just a simple fact, why is that offensive? As children grow into young adults and learn about s*x there needs to be more education available on consent and mutual respect. There is a spectrum of s*xual assault... are young boys aware that “being persuasive” or “always getting what they want” could be s*xual abuse and emotionally harmful to the other person? As young women and men are empowered s*xually or otherwise this needs to come with self respect and knowledge that it’s ok to say yes and then say no, the way we dress is not an invitation and if you don’t feel fully comfortable doing something someone is asking from you, say no.
