Fantastic book fair tonight. So many people. Thank you for coming along. Don’t forget it’s open again tomorrow.

Today, every class had lots of fun watching a show (fantastic Fred) all about having a healthy mind. Through lots of jokes and fun, the children learnt all about the importance of a healthy diet, rest, exercise and limited screen time.

Fancy a sweet treat next Friday 3rd March? Year 6 will be holding a cake sale to raise money for their leaver's hoodies.

Chandlers Field are delighted to present their latest work from the 'Take One Picture' Art Week. This year the children have been looking at the painting 'Surprised' by Henri Rousseau and each year group has created artwork inspired from their interpretations. The children have worked hard to produce some fantastic art pieces.

Headline figures are that 98% of you say your child is happy at Chandlers Field, 100% say their child makes good progress and 100% of you would recommend the school to another parent.

Our next Parent Voice meeting is on Wednesday 1st February at 2.45pm, and will focus on the question 'I receive valuable information from the school about my child's progress'. We look forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas.

Wishing all of our families a very happy new year

A huge thank you to everyone who helped out, came along and spent their money at the Festive Fair last night. Amount raised and raffle winners will be announced on Monday.

Tuesday saw our boys take on Cranmere for the last game before Christmas. Chandlers Field made a lightning start scoring the first goal within minutes of the kick off with a great finish from a tight angle by Jack. More excellent play followed but Cranmere caught us on the break and scored a good equaliser. With the scores level, both sides tried putting passes together and it was Chandlers Field who managed to produce the end product and score again with Jack hitting home amongst a busy penalty area. We went in a deserved 2-1 up at half time. We knew we couldn't let our guard down and continued to play well culminating in a third goal, the best of the lot. It was a terrific cross field ball from Sam to, player of the match Raheem, who controlled it and showed good composure the beat their keeper. Our first win of the season. Well done boys you again showed fantastic togetherness and sportsmanship and fully deserved the win!

Thank you to Local Luke's Landscaping for donating a Christmas Tree to us.

Local Luke's will also donate £3 to the school, per tree ordered from them. When you order just let them know you're from Chandlers Field.
