You need a divine level of patience, resilience, confidence and grit to survive as a dad. But when fuel by the love you have for your child you become unstoppable. The challenges never get easier as they grow, but it becomes more rewarding as you both grow through them. This bond that is built and journey that you share is the best role you could ever get. Continue to believe in yourself and your family because in your toughest moments they believe in you too. You will fail so get comfortable in that. This brings the opportunity to learn and be better.
Happy Father’s Day to you gents who embody the meaning behind “father” or “dad”, even you the trying fathers respect 🫡 goes out to you too.

Growing up allot of the family portraits around weren’t of black families. That’s something which is important for our kids to have,these visual representations around them. Capture some of your best moments! irrespective of whether you’re in a union or co parenting, let’s remind our kids what love and happiness looks like. Freezing the most heartfelt moments of their/your lives forever.
To this day I’m not sure why, but she had us giggling for ages.

Sir Trevor McDonald is one of the most respected figures in British broadcasting.
Sir Trevor McDonald was born in Trinidad in 1939.
He cut his teeth at local media outlets, before moving to London and joining the BBC World Service as a producer.
In 1973, he became a reporter for ITN, then went on to become a presenter.
During this time, Sir Trevor was one of the few black faces in broadcast television.
He interviewed figures from Nelson Mandela to Saddam Hussein, and became the first sole presenter of News At Ten.
In 1992, Sir Trevor received an OBE in the Queen's Honours List, followed by a knighthood in 1999.
He retired from News at Ten (for the second time) in 2008. By then, he had received more awards than any other news broadcaster in Britain
