Come take a break this Thursday at 6pm BST and play in the Dominican Society’s Jeopardy game night. 🕹👾 We plan to test folks knowledge on all things Dominican, don’t worry if you’re not an aficionado this is just for some good ol’ fun. The event is an hour long and will be hosted via zoom. We recommend BYOD (drink responsibly though!). 🍹☕️🧉

Last but never least, meet Camila! Camila is a Queens girl at heart and Ecuadorian by blood. Family, relationships and quality time are fundamental to who she is. She is always ready to give hugs and spend the day laughing rather than working. Cami hopes the Dominican Society will allow her to bring more of the Latin American culture to LSE.

Next up! Meet our Secretary and one of our Founding Members, Julianna Uranga (popularly known as Juli)! Juli is Mexican-Cuban American and was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Juli grew up around an array of Latin cultures, and help found the Dominican society because of her love for all things Dominican, from friends to food she hopes to share her appreciation as well as the beauty of Dominican culture with the LSE community.

First up: Meet our founder & president, Daniella!
Daniella is a proud (and quite loud) Dominican-American from The Bronx, New York. Culture and community are foundational to who Dani is. She is always sharing her culture through food and dance, always offering a plate of moro de habichuelas and a good bachata, and she hopes the Dominican Society will allow her to keep sharing Dominican culture with the greater LSE community
