It is with sadness that I inform scholars and seekers of knowledge worldwide of the passing of our Shaykha al-Sharīfah Zahrāʾ bint ʿUthmān al-Qādiriyyah al-Ḥasanīyyah al-Makkīyyah.

Likely the last living person to narrate directly from numerous luminaries of Riwāyah.

Passing Away of A Leading Authority on the Scientific Miracles of the Holy Qur'ān

انتقل إلى رحمة الله تعالى يوم الأحد ١٨ جمادى الأولى ١٤٤٧ الموافق ٩ نوفمبر ٢٠٢٥ بالعاصمة الأردنية عمان، الدكتور زغلول النجار، أحد أبرز علماء الإعجاز العلمي في القرآن الكريم

It is with sadness that I inform scholars and students of knowledge worldwide of the passing away of the renowned Muslim scholar and leading specialist on the Scientific Miracles of the Holy Qur'ān, Dr Zaghloul b. Raghib Al Naggar who was born on November 17, 1933 and passed into the mercy of Allāh ﷻ in Jordan on November 9, 2025. He was over 94 Hijrī years old. His funeral will be conducted tomorrow at the ʿĀʾishah Mosque in Amman, Jordan.

In the following article, I have provided a brief biographical account of his remarkable life and enduring legacy.

فضيلة الشيخ الفقيه اللغوى على صالح الأزهري حفظه الله

مولده: 1944
مكانته العلمية: شيخ العربية في الجامع الأزهر، وعليه مدار علم العربية الأن في الأزهر الشريف، وله العديد من الكتب والمؤلفات والدروس والمنظومات.

قد تخرج الدكتور علي صالح من كلية أصول الدين عام 1970م وتتلمذ على ثلة من أهل العلم وجلس إليهم منهم:

١) سمع كتاب التحفة السنية شرح الأجرومية وقطر الندي وشذور الذهب وتنقيح الأزهرية على الشيخ محمد محي الدين عبد الحميد بالجامع الأزهر وسمعه مرة أخري على الشيخ أحمد علي وهو شيخ الشيخ محمد محي الدين عبد الحميد فتم له السماع والدراسة على الشيخ وتلميذه وله منهم إجازة

٢) قرأ كتاب منهاج الوصول إلى علم الوصول للبيضاوي وجزء من البخاري ومسلم، على الشيخ الطاهر ابن عاشور في أوائل الخمسينات ببيت الشيخ بالحلمية

٣) قرأ كتاب نور الايضاح في الفقه الحنفي عام 1956م على الشيخ نور الدين المراغي فقد كان إماما كبيراً وهو ابن أخي شيخ الإسلام الشيخ محمد مصطفي المراغي وأجازه أيضا

٤) سمع كتاب شرح الأزهرية كاملا للشيخ خالد الأزهري على الشيخ عبد الفتاح جاويش

٥) قرأ قطر الندي على الشيخ طوبة سعدون

٦) قرأ شذور الذهب على الشيخ محمد خطاب

٧) قرأ علوم التاريخ على الشيخ محمد طيب النجار الذى كان في أخر حياته رئيساً لجامعة الأزهر، وكذلك قرأ على الشيخ محمد عبد العال والشيخ محمد كامل مراد والشيخ عبد المقصود نصار وقد سمع بيتاً من الشيخ عبد المقصود نصار يقول فيه: ومن وعى التاريخ في صدره أضاف أعماراً إلى عمره

٧) قرأ كتاب شرح ابن عقيل، وأوضح المسالك كاملاً على شيوخ عظماء من علماء الأزهر

٩) قرأ كتاب الاختيار الجزء الأول والثاني، وكتاب العلى الشيخ علي عبد الرحيم والذي تخرج عام 1927م، وكذلك قرأ عليه كتاب الوصايا، وقرأ الجزء الثالث من كتاب، والاختيار على الشيخ علي الذهبي، وقرأ الجزء الثالث منه على الشيخ علي طاهر زاهر وكان إماماً في اللغة، وقرأ الجزء الأخير من الاختيار مع كتاب الميراث على الشيخ عبد الرحمن الصعيدي وكان يلقب بشيخ الأحناف

١٠) قرأ الهداية في الفقه الحنفي على الشيخ أحمد هريدي مفتي الديار المصرية

١١) قرأ علم العروض على الشيخ محمد الشربيني

١٢) قرأ مختارة من السنن على الشيخ عبدالله بن الصديق الغماري وقرأ علو الحديث والتفسير

١) سمع صحيح البخاري كاملا على الشيخ محمد الأحمدين صاحب كتاب ضوء القمر على نخبة الفكر

٢) صحيح مسلم على الشيخ موسي شاهين والشيخ أحمد عبد الغني دره والشيخ عبد البر الساكت، وكذلك سمع صحيح مسلم بشرحه كاملا على الشيخ محمد نجيب المطيعي

٣) سمع كتاب المنهل العذب المورود على شرح سنن أبي داود والأربعين النووية على الشيخ أمين محمود خطاب السبكي

٤) سمع كتاب الشمائل المحمدية للترمذي على الشيخ عبد رب سليمان

٥) سمع كتب الحديث أيضاً على الشيخ سيد الحكيم والشيخ سيد ندا وغيرهم

٦) سمع كتاب الهداية في الفقه الحنفي على مفتي الديار المصرية الشيخ أحمد هريدي

٧) سمع كتاب الشفا للقاضي عياض والشمائل على الشيخ حسنين محمد حسنين مخلوف

٨) قرأ تفسير البيضاوي وتفسير الجلاليين ومختارات من تفسير أبو السعود على أربعة مشايخ وهم:
أ‌ - الشيخ المسير الكبير الجد
ب ‌- الشيخ السيد أحمد الكومي
ت ‌- الشيخ علي خليل
ث ‌- الشيخ عبد الرحمن عثمان
فقد قرأ على كل واحد منهم ربع القرآن مع تفسيره

٩) قرأ التفسير العلمي للشيخ طنطاوي الجوهري

١٠) قرأ علوم القرآن (مناهل العرفان للزرقاني) على الشيخ الشافعي جوهر، وعلى الشيخ عبد الغني الراجحي

١١) قرأ الاتقان في علوم القرآن على الشيخ أحمد حسنين الشرباصي

١٢) قرأ علم الميراث والأحوال الشخصية على الشيخ محمد أبو زهرة

١٣) لازم الشيخ صالح الجعفري وسمع منه الكثير

١٤) سمع كثير من كتب التفسير على الشيخ مصطفي الحديدي

١٥) قرأ الأربعون النووية وغيرها على الشيخ محمد الحافظ التيجاني طلبت منه زوجته رحمه الله قبل وفاتها أن يكتب لها أبيات توضع على قبرها فأنشد لها:

"يا من مررت بقبري قف أمامي اقرأ السبع المثاني وهبْةً منك إليَّ
فزمانا كنت مثلك أقرأ القرآن حيا وقريباً تبقي مثلي ليس بعد الله شيئا"

من مؤلفاته:
١) منظومة ورد الربيع في البيان والمعاني والبديع.
٢) منظومة روض الزهور بين القطر والشذور.
٣) الدرر الفاخرة في الكلام على بعض مساجد القاهرة.
٤) منظومة الياقوت والمرجان في بيان معاني كلمات القرآن.
٥) نظم البردة المحمدية.
٦) ألفية الكلمات الإنجليزية.
٧) منظومة ورد الزهور في معرفة أسماء مشايخ الأزهر المعمور.
٨) منظومة بدر الضياء في معرفة شيوخ دار الإفتاء.
٩) منظومة جيش عربي يا له من أبي في وصف جيش مصر.
١٠) منظومة نزهة المشتاق في الكلام على مترو الأنفاق.
١١) منظومة في علم المواريث.
١٢) منظومة قصيدة في حب مصر.
١٣) إتحاف الأزهرية بشرح المقدمة الآجرومية.
١٤) رفع الحجاب بشرح ملحة الإعراب.
١٥) منظومة في علم العروض.

وهناك العديد من مؤلفاته التي لم تطبع بعد.

It is with deep sadness that I inform scholars and students of knowledge worldwide of the passing away of the bastion of Islamic daʿwah in the West Indies; Shaykh Muḥammad Yūsuf Pīprāwālā who was born on July 17, 1924 and passed into the mercy of Allāh ﷻ yesterday on July 5, 2025. He was over 104 Hijrī years old.
