Ending today with a grateful heart šŸ«¶šŸ¾

I didn’t expect to feel this nervous posting again, but I did. My hand was literally shaking small before I pressed ā€œshareā€ šŸ˜…
But seeing your comments, your DMs, your ā€œwelcome backā€ messages… it honestly means a lot more than you know.
Sometimes you don’t realise people are still quietly here until you show up again.

Thank you for the warmth today.
Thank you for not judging the break.
Thank you for allowing me ease.

We’re starting again… gently.

Goodnight my people ā¤ļø

My people,
I didn’t disappear because I failed.

For the longest time, I would open this app, stare at the screen, scroll small, CV even comment on other people’s pages sometimes… and close it again.

I didn’t know what to say anymore. I didn’t even know where to start from, And if I’m honest. I’m still a bit confused.. A lot has happened since I was last active. I didn’t even feel this way when I was about starting off this page years ago, lol.

When I first moved to the UK and started creating content, everything felt like content. First winter. First big girl purchase in pounds. First nurse shift. First payslip. First culture shock. First trip outside the UK.

But a few years later… life is no longer ā€œnewā€. Reality has settled in. It’s now routine.
It’s responsibility. It’s adulting and bills .

And somewhere in that routine, I lost the energy to share. I lost the motivation to show up. Not because life was bad. Not because I wasn’t earning.
But because I was and still evolving.

This time, I’m not coming back to impress.
Not back to chase clout or trend.
I’m coming back to speak honestly. To make an impact if possible.
If you’re still here, thank you 🄹. You’re the real VIPs. I genuinely thought I had lost everyone. Thank you for sticking around.
If you’re new here, you’re highly welcomeā£ļø
Please give me some time to find my rhythm again, don’t pressure me o lol.
I feel like I’m new here all over again lol.

Let me reintroduce myself properly :
I’m Nurse Sharon, a Registered Nurse licensed to practice in several countries (gist for another day ). I live and work in the UK. I create content about health, relocation, travel and lifestyle.
This page will feel softer now, more honest, more balanced, more me .

Let’s start again šŸ«¶šŸ½šŸ«¶šŸ½šŸ«¶šŸ½
With love,
Sharon.

Happy Nurses Week to me šŸ˜ and all the incredible nurses who pour their hearts into every shift! šŸ’™

This week (and every week), we celebrate the compassion, strength, and dedication that define our profession. Whether it’s holding a patient’s hand, solving critical problems, or working long hours to keep others safe—you make a difference in ways words can’t capture.

Take a moment to honor YOURSELF too—because behind every life you touch is a nurse who deserves recognition, rest, and gratitude. You are someone’s hero, even on the toughest days. I will always appreciate the day I make this life changing decision to be a nurse, not just nationally but internationally!!!

Keep shining, keep caring, and know how deeply valued you are. Here’s to us—the heartbeat of healthcare! šŸ©ŗšŸ’– "
