The Case of Steel, Gold & Chocolate!

🚂 Meet Mr John Steel a Train Guard on the newly opened (1849) Hampton Court Railway line, bringing passengers from Surbiton to Hampton Court Station to enjoy their day at Hampton Court Palace.

🧐 The team had a blast researching the creation of Hampton Court Station, its corresponding branch line and what the local area was like the reign of Queen Victoria.

Breaking News: Natural History Museum Members help Charles Darwin with his theory! 🗞️

📖 Earlier this month young participants helped Charles Darwin find his missing notebook page, revealing a lost species. They completed three Evolution themed challenges which unlocked clues to find the hidden creature!

🐢 Zoom Through History provided an actor to play Charles Darwin as well as developing this brand new workshop adventure for the Membership Team at the Natural History Museum.

🌊 In November a group of young oceanographers joined Captain Joe for a full steam ahead tour of the 5 oceans of the world.

🗺️ They travelled to the depths of the Mariana Trench, explored polar ice shelves and even made their own take-away Oceanarium!
