Never stop going for your dreams!

***Ways to be UNSUCCESSFUL***
If you constantly compare your work to others ....If you never ask for help....
If you never plan.....If you never forgive yourself for mistakes....If you are afraid of what others think....If you have people around you who dont believe in you.....if you dont dream big....
Just remember - you CAN do anything you set your mind on...the hard work pays off and if you dare to have big dreams, keep on learning new skills and keep on meeting new people ...you have no idea how exciting LIFE can be. :)

*** A message from our friend Phil, founder of the Studio Talent Group over in Los angeles. Listen to his advice!!***
Phil Wrote.
STG's first episodic booking of 2012 occurred earlier today, staff have been steadily submitting & auditions flowing in. I get the feeling that all actors aren't working as hard as they should be today....so, if you're not in class, don't have great, current headshots, aren't networking, and not pushing for a stellar year of being a working actor rethink your goals tonight. The next three months are a microcosm of the intensity you should have daily in your acting career. As always you can follow our auditions, booking and work related topics on Twitter via .

**Yes its HARD WORK!**
Understand that that the most important thing at any audition is that only ONE person will get booked for that job. That ONE person could be YOU but dont be lazy and think you can just wing it. Instead approach each audition like an Olympic swimmer. The harder you train, the more concentration you have, the more likely you will book the job. When you put in the HARD WORK you can achieve anything!

*Scrpit Learning Technique*
What do you do when you get a script?? What most actors think about first is how many lines they have. This can mentally block anything else going on the scenes. Dont worry about your lines at first. Read the whole script and take in each character. Get to know them all individually. Learn what the story of the play is. Then learn the story of each scene. REMEMBER - You might not be the main person in the scene but understand WHY you are in each scene. What is your purpose in the Play/Film? Its not all about you....do it for your FELLOW ACTORS!

*Audition Technique*
When does your audition start??? Get into to the habit of starting your audition the day it is confirmed. Understand the scene, understand the script, understand your character, learn your lines! On the way to the auditon BE your character. When you arrive in reception dont sit and talk to the other actors. Instead... stay in your character, go over the scene, go over your lines. Walk into that auditon completely focused. Trust your homework enough to commit 110%...YOU ONLY HAVE ONE CHANCE TO IMPRESS!!!
