It’s day two of Big Give’s ‘Arts for Impact’ campaign and we need your help to get Classbot 450 to 2000 more school children across Ealing and Brent.
Until the 25th of March will DOUBLE every donation, so every penny counts! Whether you have spare change to donate or can share our posts to your network, we’d be super grateful for your help.
Classbot 450 is an interactive, immersive adventure for primary school children. It revolves around “the world’s first robot teacher”. Unfortunately, she malfunctions spectacularly during her first lesson, leaving it up to the children to discover her source code and reprogram her using a specially designed coding interface. This kicks off a week-long narrative all about AI that unfolds across assemblies, videos and creative workshops where children will solve coding challenges, build confidence and critical thinking.

Big Give's 'Arts for Impact' campaign is here! Help us to get Classbot 450, our amazing immersive learning adventure, to 2,000 more children across Ealing and Brent.
Technology and AI play a rapidly growing part in our lives. However, many primary schools lack the resources to deliver quality coding education. Children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds with less access to technology at home, are at risk of being put at a life-long disadvantage. There is also a growing gender gap in computing. Meanwhile, the national curriculum has no space to explore the social and educational challenges posed by AI, which will have a huge impact on this generation of children.
Classbot 450 is an interactive adventure for primary school children made with the brilliant KIT Theatre. It revolves around “the world’s first robot teacher”. This kicks off a week-long narrative all about AI that unfolds across assemblies, videos and creative workshops where children will solve coding challenges, build confidence and critical thinking.
Arts for Impact is a very special campaign in which Big Give will DOUBLE all donations made before March 25th (ie if you give £5, we will get £10). Even the equivalent amount to a cup of coffee can have real impact!

Wonderful few days celebrating The Museum of Me
Rebecca, the museum curator and Tommy T. Thompson had a wonderful time this week learning all about museums with the wonderful children from Springhead School's Museum of Me.
The Museum of Me was a magical exhibition installation created with personal and special objects, sounds, images and videos from each child from 3 classes in Springhead School.
The Museum of Me is a project delivered as part of Shores.
New Shores is a locally-rooted creative partnership between ARCADE, KIT Theatre, Scarborough Museums and Galleries and four Scarborough schools, delivering a programme of arts-based learning on the theme of ‘identity’ and ‘difference’.
It is a two-year programme which aims to engage approximately 1,225 children and 12 teachers through 400 sessions.
New Shores creative partnership is Funded by Paul Hamlyn Foundation and through public funding from the National Lottery Good Causes by Arts Council England

We've had a delightful day out in the sun responding to reports of shooting stars in Ockendon! Pupils discovered Nanoo, the alien, hatching from an egg and taught her all about their favourite foods, their favourite songs and even some cracking dance moves! 🛸
