🔍 Research has shown that children who grow up in an environment where their feelings are validated are more likely to develop emotional intelligence, resilience, and a sense of self-worth. They are also less likely to experience anxiety, depression and other mental health issues later in life.
🤗 Validating a child’s feelings is an important way to protect their mental health. When children are able to express their feelings and have them acknowledged and accepted by others, it helps them feel heard and understood.
👦🏻👧🏽 If your child says "I'm stupid", simply telling them "No, you are intelligent and perfect as you are" may not be enough. While this response may seem positive, it can make the child feel unheard and dismissed.
👨👩👧👦 As parents and educators, our role is to help our children feel heard and understood. We can acknowledge their feelings by saying things like "It sounds like you're feeling frustrated", and encourage them to express themselves in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
💪 By validating their feelings, we can support their emotional development and promote healthy self-esteem.

Resilience is a vital life skill that helps children bounce back from setbacks and overcome challenges. And it's never too early to start developing it!
As parents, caregivers, and educators, we can help children learn how to rise every time they fall and grow stronger from their experiences.
Our Masterclass session, ‘It’s Okay to Make Mistakes’, is a great starting point to teaching children resilience.
In this session, we teach children that everyone makes mistakes, and it’s normal to fail. What’s important is how we react and learn from it.
Also, ‘Getting Back up After Failure’, teaches children that failure is not the end and gives children strategies to keep trying pursuing their goals and ambitions.

In today's digital age, it's important to protect our children from the dangers of the internet.
🚨According to a survey by the Cyberbullying Research Center, approximately 34% of students have experienced cyberbullying.
One way to protect our children is by building their self-esteem. When children have a strong sense of self-worth, they are more likely to make smart decisions online and less likely to fall victim to cyberbullying.
💪🏼By building your child's self-esteem and equipping them with the tools they need to stay safe online, you can help them navigate the digital world with confidence and resilience.
