whilst studying for a law degree Clare signed up to a night course in photography and spent many an evening falling in love with shooting, developing and printing photographs in the darkroom. After a short period working in family law she decided to turn her newfound passion into a career and went back to uni to study commercial photography in Bournemouth. Now a full time freelance photographer based in London, her work has been exhibited at the Photographers’ Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery, and she regularly shoots commissions for publications such as The Independent Magazine, The Guardian Weekend, The New Statesman and Oh Comely, to name but a few. As one half of The Weddings, she enjoys travelling around the UK and beyond, making beautiful pictures that are a true reflection of the bride and groom, their loved ones, and all the effort that has been put into making the day so special and unique. About Johnny,
as a full-time Video Editor/Camera Operator with a CV touting credits from the likes of the BBC, Adidas, Virgin and Red Bull, Johnny has been fortunate enough to take his passion for filmmaking to many places including India and Japan. However, he has always maintained that he gets the most joy out of engaging with his own projects and capturing events that are little more close to home. As a self-taught filmmaker and writing enthusiast he has always been driven by the idea of storytelling and now, as the other half of The Weddings he’s excited about being a part of many stories to come…
