We at Thomas Tallis School are proud to stand for inclusivity and equity in sport. This week, we’ve sent an open letter to the organisers of the Rosslyn Park 7s Rugby competition, urging them to expand opportunities for girls’ teams to match the scale of the boys’ competition.

Currently, the girls’ tournaments have far fewer slots, on average 78% fewer, leaving many talented teams on waiting lists. This imbalance holds back the growth of girls' rugby at a time when interest and participation are skyrocketing. Rugby is a sport that inspires resilience, teamwork, and leadership—qualities every young person deserves the chance to develop.

We’re calling on our community to help amplify this message. Sign our petition to show your support for expanding the girls' competitions at Rosslyn Park 7s. Together, we can ensure a brighter, more inclusive future for rugby!

We feel so fortunate that we had the opportunity to spend time with today at school. Such a beautiful person who spoke from the heart. We listened carefully to them talk about their practice. The students were all inquisitive and respectful and hung onto every word. So great to have them visit both the art and photography department and provide tips and advice. It was standing room only with over 70 students. Such an impassioned orator and kind with both time and ideas. we salute you. Here’s to you inspiring many more students and adults alike. Thank you!
