Students gain skills linked to science, literacy, maths, design, drama, art, geography, history and of course the natural environment.

These Kellie-kettles are a brilliant way of teaching fire skills and chemistry too. At the end there is a hot drink too. Not bad. Important to follow clear safety procedures. Positive risk - positive results. Kellie kettles rock.

Take a group of disengaged south London girls, an inner city London woodland and a bit of Shakespeare and put them all together and the result; funny and inspiring. This rehearsal was filmed by one of the students.

Mud glorious mud. Given the choice my group of Peckham girls would prefer to be out in the woods in the rain than in a classroom. I think we might forget fireside cooking and create clay sculptures instead
