Ok, this is one of my favourite covers I designed last year. Probably also one of the quickest. Just scribbled down hastily with a big fat marker pen.

I commissioned Vesa Sammalisto to illustrate this cover for Happy City. I did the type and cobbled the whole thing together.

This little animation is now four years old: https://vimeo.com/6986263 Still the best one I've made (in my opinion).

Command and Control
by Eric Schlosser
What an honour it was to design a cover for Eric Schlosser (author of Fast Food Nation). The illustration is all my own work, and a very different style to what I'm used to.
The cover is printed using Pantone inks, so the jacket is pretty bright in real life.

Children of the Days
by Eduardo Galeano
This book features a very short story for each day of the year, 366 in total. So, my cover (front and back) features 366 individual dots, one for each day of the year.

Who Owns the Future?
by Jaron Lanier
Designed by deconstructing a dahlia and scanning all the individual petals. This is possibly the fastest cover I've ever designed — less than 24-hours from start to finish.

Turing's Cathedral
The Origins of the Digital Universe
by George Dyson
Featuring a fantastic illustration of the very first computer by Paul Catherall, this cover is looking very nice in paperback.

Technology, Solutionism and the Urge to Fix Problems that Don't Exist
