As being International student officer I have help students settle and get more support, which can actually help them . This can be accounted for by the people I have already helped out. Furthermore it will be great to have a candidate who will support the creation of events and actualy managing to make our voices heard.

This help me to enhanced my skills and I will surely make you guys are aware of those and benefit from them

• Attend Student Consultations groups, Impact a change
• International Student Officer 2018/19 Re-Elected in second year
• Made it possible, Heathrow Airport welcomes for EU & Overseas(International) Students
• Attended House of Commons of the United Kingdom, for UKCISA
• Won Recommend a friend competition creating awareness of jobs to new students
• NUS Delegate for International Conference, Putting Greenwich forward and heard on bigger platforms
• Student Ambassador
• Sport Assistant

I have the experience to understand International Students needs and in a university having 60% Internatianal Students so

Whilst I have been an international officer for the past 2 years, I have improved the experience of international students by creating awareness of the university services. For example, employability within the university as well as academic support provided by the university. I also created awareness for the advice services provided by the student’s union, which is designed to help individuals with difficulties in a variety of academic related problems. Furthermore, I have created the international Heathrow welcoming project, which has not been done in the past. This service makes sure that international students arriving at the university are welcomed and guided about the university. I have represented the university in the international student’s conference held by the national union of students (NUS). In order to make sure that the concerns of our international students are heard at a national level. Getting solutions from different universities, facing similar problems enabled us to create benefits for our international students, such as issues with post study visas in the NUS. I have also been invited to attend the Parliament by UKCISA (Who deal with tier 4 visa), having a say on a national level. In this program 40 universities have been chosen out of a total of 200. I was one of 40 students from different universities who discussed how European Students can be helped with their current situation

The voting system, used in the upcoming GSU Elections called Single Transferable vote explained in video, so If I am not your first preference consider me one of your next choices because I want to make sure that every student gets enough support on their Mental health and wellbeing, Academic support and Debt financing so that students(YOU ALL) have best Student experience for their time in University of Greenwich
