A very happy morning!

For 150 years, Croydon High has been a school where girls aspire without limits. Founded with a bold mission to provide girls with the education they deserved, our legacy of empowerment began with our formidable first Head, Dorinda Neligan - a trailblazer, a suffragette, and a woman who believed in fighting for what is right.

Yesterday, we were honoured to welcome HRH The Duchess of Gloucester, who recognised our school’s incredible journey and the impact of generations of Croydon High women. 150 years on, we are still championing the same cause: ensuring every girl has the confidence, the skills, and the ambition to lead.

This International Women’s Day, we celebrate our past, our present, and the limitless potential of the young women who will shape the future.

As the autumn term concludes, we extend our warmest wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your loved ones! Thank you to everyone who engaged with us throughout the year – your support and participation are truly valued. We look forward to connecting with even more of you in 2025. As part of our 150th anniversary celebrations, we will be holding a Charity Golf Day on Friday 20 September at .

This will be open to all Croydon High parents, friends and alumnae, to celebrate 150 years of Croydon High School and raise funds towards an important cause, .

The day will include:
☕️ Coffee and bacon rolls
⛳️ Tee times
🥪 Sandwiches and chips afterwards

💡NEW ROLE: HEAD OF ADMISSIONS 💡

We are looking for an outstanding communicator and administrator to lead the admissions process at Croydon High School.

As Head of Admissions, you will oversee pupil admissions into both the Junior and Senior Schools from first contact, to visits, examinations, assessments and the first day of school. As a rapidly growing school, you will work closely with both the Director of Philanthropy and External Relations, the Senior School Admissions Registrar and the Marketing and Communications Manager to implement a continued growth strategy to attract, recruit and retain pupils at the school.
