IQ Test Bias Explained: Myths, Mistakes and Evidence.
What does it really mean for an IQ test to be “biased”? In this episode of The Human Intelligence Podcast, Dr. Craig Frisby, author of Essentials of Assessing Bias in Intelligence Testing, explains why bias is not about score gaps but about measurement error.
We explore how psychologists detect and remove biased items, why landmark cases like Larry P. and PASE v. Hannon changed the conversation, and why breaking standardization or using “dynamic” assessments and race-norming models like SOMPA failed to improve fairness.

As you will see, the name of this page has been changed from IQ/EEG Research to "Intelligence Research - London". This is to reflect the widening of the focus of my intelligence research from the original EEG study to incorporate a greater focus on psychometric testing, personal characteristics and individual differences, and life outcomes research across the ability spectrum, although my primary interest remains researching intelligence in the highest ranges.
Although the EEG research is not going to be resumed in the immediate future, it remains a possible follow-up project. There are two online studies almost ready to go live - watch this space for details.

Useful.
Google is so powerful that it "hides" other search systems from us. We just don't know the existence of most of them.
Meanwhile, there are still a huge number of excellent searchers in the world who specialize in books, science, other smart information.
Keep a list of sites you never heard of!
www.refseek.com - Academic Resource Search. More than a billion sources: encyclopedia, monographies, magazines.
www.worldcat.org - a search for the contents of 20 thousand worldwide libraries. Find out where lies the nearest rare book you need.
https://link.springer.com - access to more than 10 million scientific documents: books, articles, research protocols.
www.bioline.org.br is a library of scientific bioscience journals published in developing countries.
http://repec.org - volunteers from 102 countries have collected almost 4 million publications on economics and related science.

I am now actively recruiting participants for my research! If you live in London (or are within reasonable travel distance) and are aged 18-60 with no brain injuries or conditions that might affect an EEG, then I would like to hear from you. The research will involve a one-to-one psychometric test, followed by a new pilot online test. Participants who volunteer will be invited back at a later stage for the EEG portion of the research. Debriefs provided. Please message me for additional information or to sign up for the study.

Important Update: It has been a while since I posted anything to this page, and this has been because my research project was delayed for reasons outside my control. I am pleased to announce that this research project now has full approval from the university Ethics Committee and I am recruiting participants for my latest study. Further updates will follow, so please watch this space!
