Seeing Marathons Differently

The weather at the Yorkshire Marathon wasn't ideal but my 3rd fastest marathon and 4th sub 3.30 marathon in 18 months, Thanks to Jason for guiding, to the brilliant organisers and everyone for their support.

So when Louise suggested I email the Yorkshire Marathon organisers I never dreamed where it would lead. They were extremely helpful, ensuring we had a fantastic weekend and there are likely to be some exciting announcements in the future.

At the end of September in rain and strong winds I was just over a minute slower than my half marathon PB at Redcar Half guided by John. As always it was well organised, shame about the weather as I felt I could have got a PB there.

First of a number of much needed updates. Did Great North Run with the lovely Kay. Was over cautious the first 5 mile but a quicker last 8 meant it was about a minute slower than my course PB, Fantastic atmosphere as ever.

Was very honoured to be asked to speak at Harrogate Ladies' College Sports Presentation evening. It was fantastic to see the students recognised for their achievements throughout the past year.
