Medical & Educational Aid to Kenya is a well-established UK charity, started by Mike & Dee Belliere in 1994. MEAK began with distributing pens & pencils & medical supplies, but quickly grew, keeping the same goal: To provide medical support to Kenya. MEAK works in the fields of ophthalmology, dentistry, orthopaedic & paediatric cardiac surgery with the overarching goal of reaching the unreached. M

Congratulations to the Safarilink sponsored MEAK eye team for a very successful mission in Turkana. An amazing 818 patients were reviewed with 82 receiving sight-restoring cataract surgery & 34 having surgery for painful trachoma. Well done everyone!
