The Year Ahead 2026

Monday 5 January 2026, 6.30pm - 8.00pm

The year starts with the conjunction of Saturn and Neptune at 0 degrees of Aries, and the year continues with the Uranus-Pluto trines – the first since their conjunctions in the mid-1960s. Uranus will move back into Gemini and Chiron will ingress into Ta**us. Come along to this free talk to discuss the new fire and air era which will reset and then pole vault us out of these darker times and into something more fresh, new, light, albeit a little crazy.

Wow! What an incredible day yesterday was. It was the last day of the course for our in person students! Their graduation, and the opening for the Mayo School Annual Conference!

Yesterday was a challenging day for the students, going deeper into major configurations and putting together all their tools from the past few weeks. The students all worked so well together and came up with some really interesting perceptions of the charts given.

First day of the Certificate Course went incredibly well. Students brains are very full and enriched with planets, houses, signs & aspects. Looking forward to tomorrow!

INTRODUCING YOUR SPEAKERS:

Rod Chang has studied astrology for over twenty years, both through self-study and through the Faculty of Astrological Studies.

His favourite aspects are mundane astrology and a humanistic approach to astrology, Fixed star and Mundane Astrology. He is co-founder of the Academy of Astrology.

INTRODUCING YOUR SPEAKERS:

Sue Tompkins became entranced with astrology c.1972 and has been a consultant and teacher since. She is also a practicing and registered homeopath and trained counsellor.

Her books, ‘Aspects in Astrology’ (1989) and ‘The Contemporary Astrologer’s Handbook’ (2006), continue to be best-selling titles.

In a survey of global professional astrologers’ favourite ten books ‘Aspects in Astrology’ came first.

She lectures globally and is perhaps the most widely studied western astrologer in China.

Wendy Stacey is the principal of the Mayo School, Chair of the Astrological Association, and tutor on the MA Cultural Astronomy and Astrology programme at the University of Wales.

She is a writer, researcher, presenter, event organiser but her clients and students remain at the heart of her love for astrology as a consultant and educator.

In 2014 Wendy received the Charles Harvey award for ‘Exceptional Service to Astrology’.
