KS2 choir worked really hard over the past few months learning a variety of songs from different animated films. Their hard work paid off with last night's amazing performance at the cliffs pavilion! Well done choir!

St Columba loved meeting Farmer Carl today and especially enjoyed stroking the chicken! 🐔

This week's wonderful Values children 👏 👏

St Ursula class had a cross-building afternoon, after learning about the cross being a sign of Christianity. Each child created their own cross using resources found in the classroom. We learned about how the sign of the cross also represents the Holy Trinity. We made a sign of the cross acknowledging who the father is , and who the son is, and of course the holy spirit. The children were surprised about their learning even though we make the sign of the cross before and after prayers in the classroom. ✝️

Farmer Carl visited school today 😊
He taught four classes - Year 3 and 4 - all about life on the farm, the animals and crops he grows.
All the children were fascinated especially when they stroked Hetty the chicken

5AL had a great assembly today, showcasing lots of that they have learnt this year with some fun musical numbers alongside. Well done 5A!

In science, St Columba have been busy investigating their teeth! We have been learning about the different types, what each one helps us to do and why it’s so important to keep them clean and healthy. 😃 🦷🦷🦷😁
