Salaam everyone and Jummah mubarak!
After a huge success with our last fundraising project, KCL Arab Society are very pleased to announce another collaboration with Salam Charity
After seeing how many lives we affected with the care package distribution last year, we want to emulate that and help improve even more lives inshaAllah.
The fundraising project is split into two main subgroups:
*1. pre-ramadan: food parcels (UK based)*
*2. ramadan: fundraising for children and homes in Syria*
With Ramadan coming up soon, and we prepare to give up food and drink for a month, there are many individuals in London who are not unfamiliar with the struggle of not having enough sustenance to support themselves and their families. We want to provide 100 food parcels before Ramadan to those who need it the most.
As well as this, during Ramadan we also want to extend our support to those in Syria & Lebanon, by fundraising to provide international aid for children (Syrian and Palestinian refugees) and by building homes (in Syria).
Ramadan is a time of togetherness and being with family. Getting involved with this fundraising project will be a gratifying way to give back to less fortunate families both here in the UK and also internationally.
*We need you to help change lives!* Whether you’ve not fundraised before, or you’re already an experienced fundraiser and want to make even more of a difference, make sure you don’t miss out on this rewarding opportunity! Any support, no matter how small will make a big difference💛
