It was a scorcher this week! 🔥

For those bakers that made it to our sessions (we missed those who couldn’t attend!) you did a wonderful job making your delicious strawberry trifles 🍓

Using the layering technique, bakers used cake, cream, jelly, custard and fresh strawberries to build their desserts. They all looked so refreshing! Well done everybody!

It’s going to be a scorcher this week! 🌞🕶️ What better way to cool down than with a delicious pot of refreshing strawberry trifle? 🍓

This week our bakers are making individual strawberry trifles inspired by the famous strawberries enjoyed during Wimbledon 🎾.

The children will build their own dessert by layering vanilla sponge, strawberries, jelly, custard, and whipped cream in clear pots. They will finish by decorating their yummy pots with freeze-dried strawberry pieces! YUM.

This week we’re making Banana & Fudge Cookies in honour of , which takes place on 16th June!

This recipe combines the sweet flavour of banana with delicious chunks of fudge to create soft and chewy cookies. The banana flavour comes from banana Angel Delight, giving the cookies a unique taste and a lovely aroma while they bake!

Our bakers did such a great job this week making and baking a delicious batch of Raspberry Swirl Madeleines! ⭐️

We were very impressed by the level of creativity when it came to designing their swirls in the madeleine mixture. Top marks! The bakes turned out beautifully, we hope our families enjoyed these at home with a nice cuppa!

It’s a brand new week and we’re making delicious Raspberry Swirl Madeleines!

Madeleines are small French sponge cakes that are known for their light texture and beautiful shell shape. Our version is filled with swirls of raspberry jam, giving them a yummy fruity flavour and beautiful marbled pattern. Each madeleine is unique, making them just as fun to look at as they are to eat!

We had a fantastic time this week baking delicious, savoury cheese scones. Our bakers worked really hard to follow the recipe and work in pairs to produce trays of yummy scones! Well done bakers! 🧑‍🍳 What a delicious lunchbox treat or snack for the weekend 😁

On Thursday it’s 🧀 and to celebrate we are making delicious, fluffy cheese scones! Perfect warm from the oven with a spread of butter 😋
