With just two days remaining, Friday, 15 May is your last day to register for the competitions. We will be posting reminders about rules, etc., in due course, but for now ensuring you are registered is most important.

Well, there’s a new addition to the competitions arena this year: the Team Relay Typing Challenge. One team, one country, with the team being made up of four competitors (three for countries where a fourth isn’t applicable).

Happy 100th birthday to the late Queen Elizabeth II.

To coincide with her centenary, plans for a national memorial in central London have been unveiled: A bronze statue of the Queen in her 20s, dressed in the robes of the Order of the Garter, which will stand overlooking The Mall, will be shown to King Charles and Queen Camilla today.

His Majesty King Charles has wished his “darling Mama” a happy birthday and paid tribute to the remarkable woman she was. We join him in celebrating her and “a life well lived and her legacy of hope” as this milestone comes to pass.

There’s now 95 days to go until Intersteno’s 55th Congress begins in Liverpool (that’s 3 months, 13 weeks, 2,280 hours - ish).

As host nation, from 24 July BIVR is looking forward to meeting and greeting attendees from around the globe.

There’ll be the usual seminars, competitions, and sightseeing around the host city. BUT we are honored to be the proud host nation of Intersteno’s inaugural competition - Team Relay Typing Challenge (more info coming!).
