🗳🇪🇺🕯 GENERAL ELECTION ACTION! 🕯🇪🇺🗳
At our meeting on Monday, we tweeted at our candidates asking them whether, if they won, they would guarantee the right of EU citizens to remain in the UK.
Now that campaigning has resumed, please take a moment to do the same (photo optional!) - here's how:
- Visit https://whocanivotefor.co.uk/ and enter your postcode. The site shows all the candidates standing in your constituency.
- You can click on each one to find more details about them, including their Twitter name if they have one.
- Tweet at them asking them to guarantee EU citizens' right to remain in the UK if elected. You can put multiple Twitter names in one tweet (see attached examples), but you may need to do more than one tweet if you have a lot of candidates on Twitter!
- Include "" in your tweet if you'd like to copy us in as well!
Hopefully you'll soon have responses back from the candidates, and importantly they'll realise this is an issue that matters to their voters, so if they're elected they need to act on it!
