South-East London based arts in education company working in schools, colleges PRUs, youth clubs and organisations in and around London.

No Ball Games Allowed was founded in 2009 by Artistic Director Somalia Seaton, inspired by the frustrating slogan found on the side of every council estate in the country, Somalia decided to coin that phrase and turn it into something positive within her community. Somalia is an award winning actor, writer and director whose passion lies firmly in social change through the use of theatre. NBGA is made up of a carefully selected team of passionate visiting facilitators, all of whom are professional actors, writers, directors, and mentors. Our work both as part of a team, and as freelance artists, has seen us get involved with a wide range of projects ranging from work at the BBC, Channel 5, Theatre Royal Stratford East to schools both within and outside London such as Haberdasher Askes, Masbro Youth Club, East 15 Acting School and various other arts and educational institutions throughout the UK. We pride ourselves with making our workshops a safe place for all young people. Through our work we aim to create:
• a place where it is safe to smash through barriers, both creatively and socially
• a place where young people can explore their passions, intrigues and creative needs unapologetically
• a place where we encourage young people to be inspired, be empowered and be heard a safe place, where indeed, Ball Games ARE Allowed
