It was lovely to welcome Directors Jim Loach & Philippa Langdale to The Look for the first time, as well as DP's Catherine Derry & Philippe Kress. Thank you to Double Dutch for trusting us with this project.

A solid start to 2026 for us here at The Look, with the release of 'Hijack' Series 2 on Apple TV, 'The Lady' for ITV, and of course the hilarious 'Dinosaur' Series 2 on BBC in the UK. Thank you to everyone involved.

KILORAN BAY SHORT

The fantastic short film, ‘Kiloran Bay’, written and directed by Michael Bruce, is set to feature at this years BFI Flare Festival! Book your tickets if you haven’t already!

Synopsis: After decades away from his homeland, a gay man returns to Scotland with his partner to attend a wedding ceilidh, only to recall memories he spent a lifetime avoiding.

It was a pleasure for us to work with the team on this film!

THE LADY - PICTURE POST BY THE LOOK

"Moving amongst the highest social circles in Britain, Jane managed to secure a place amongst the upper-classes in the Duchess of York’s office, only to lose her job after nine years of service. Still reeling from her fall from grace, Jane went on to meet charismatic businessman Thomas Cressman and fell deeply in love. But soon cracks began to develop in the romance Jane had pinned all her hopes on, with disastrous consequences."

Lovely as always to welcome back Leftbank Pictures to The Look following our most recent work with them on 'Department Q'. We also welcomed back director Lee Haven Jones and DP Bryan Gavigan, with Producer Florence Haddon-Cave making it a great experience all round.

DINOSAUR S2 - PICTURE POST BY THE LOOK

A pleasure as always to welcome back the team for series 2, following the successful first instalment following Nina and her family.

Director Niamh McKeown, Producer Brian Coffey, DP Steven Ferguson and the rest of the team made it a great experience as always, and thank you of course to Two Brothers for trusting us once again, following our previous successful collaborations on Dinosaur S1, and Fleabag.

HIJACK S2 - PICTURE POST BY THE LOOK

Big thank you to Jim Field Smith and the team at 60 Forty for giving up the chance to work on this great show, following the success of the first season, graded by Andrew Daniel at Goldcrest.

It was brilliant to work again with Ed Moore BSC following our collaboration on 'Somewhere Boy', and of course DP Steven Cameron Ferguson on the BBC comedy 'Dinosaur'. It was great to welcome director Shaun Grant to The Look for the first time too.

Brilliant end to 2025 for us with the recent release of 'Man Vs Baby' to conclude the year, following on from the success of 'The Girlfriend' and the feature 'Ballad of a Small Player'!

MAN VS BABY - PICTURE POST BY THE LOOK

It was brilliant to welcome Director David Kerr, DP James Mather ISC and Executive Producer Rowan Atkinson to Margaret Street for this Christmassy follow-up to 'Man Vs Bee'. Andrew Daniel took care of the grade, assisted by Sam Viner, with Corey Marand leading the Online team.

BALLAD OF A SMALL PLAYER - PICTURE POST BY THE LOOK

In select cinemas from Friday 17th October, then streaming on Netflix from Wednesday 29th October!

It was fantastic to welcome Director Edward Berger, DOP James Friend BSC and their brilliant teams to The Look for the first time. Senior Colourist Andrew Daniel of course worked with Edward and James on 'All Quiet on the Western Front', and with Edward on 'Conclave' whilst at Goldcrest Post.

Thank you also to Post Supervisor Siobhan Boyes and Coordinator Flo Miller for their support and guidance throughout the post process.
