Donner Donna Schoenherr wants to share a beautiful tale today: "One of my dear friends and colleagues in London showed me a photo of an incredibly beautiful sculpture she had inherited from her former Ballet Teacher. The artist who created it was Tom Merrifield https://tommerrifield.co.uk/ . We were talking about the piece and who made it and who the dancers were....well, guess who the male danseur is? Our beloved friend, coach, teacher, partner, Fernando Bujones https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fernando_Bujones ! I nearly fell off my chair! How wonderful this was to learn and to talk about. He is seen partnering Natalia Markarova in this stunning sculpture. I thought you would all enjoy hearing about this! PLUS- our Enid, as you know, had trained and danced with Anna Pavlova in London. I visited Ivy House, her former home, in 2012, and viewed Tom's Dragonfly sculpture and the beautiful home and grounds, with my friend and colleague Angela Taylor."
