Your child needs your respect, time, love and attention - even on the busiest days. It doesn’t cost much to show them that you care, but makes a huge impact on their lives.

𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚?

1️⃣ Spend device-free quality time with your child. Avoid using your phone while you are interacting and conversing with them. It will help build a meaningful relationship and make them feel valued.

2️⃣ Be attentive while they speak. Listen carefully and attentively to what they have to say even if it sounds silly. Respond to their questions, and show your enthusiasm to the discussion.

3️⃣ Praise them genuinely for the good they do. It will not only help them continue their good habits, but get them work harder towards doing more good. This includes praising them for telling the truth (even if it is difficult).

4️⃣ Understand that they are still learning. They are learning to bloom, while you are still learning everyday to be a better mum. Acknowledge those feelings, and that will help you be a better mum.

5️⃣ Ask them for their opinion on everyday choices, and make their own little decisions. Small decisions like what they’d like to eat, or what they’d like to play today will improve their decision making skills, and show them that you care about their choices too.

Introducing you to our new project: Everyday Adiyah

Every Muslim child deserves to learn the deen in a creative manner.
Everyday Adiyah was designed keeping in mind that lives of little Muslim children. It’s easy for little minds to memorise new information, however, an interactive study method makes it enjoyable and interesting for them to do so.

Everyday Adiyah (plural of du’ā), is a project to translate the commonly used everyday du’ā to various languages and presented in the form of colouring sheets to make learning du’ās fun and exciting!

Get them started young by memorizing the du’ā as they colour, paint and have some fun!

So we are back again...

With children being at home, with online learning taking over the globe, the mother is still the child’s first teacher and the home is the child’s first school.

We are creating these colouring sheet du’aa series where your child can learn his du’aas colouring away images with no faces and with authentic du’aas.

All you need is a printer to print these sheets and also some colour pencils or sketches!
