Love Music Hate Racism Luton
Love Music Hate Racism Luton: Bringing our diverse community together through the power of music. It is vital that everyone gets involved however they can.
Music proves that cultures blend beautifully, creating unity and strength. It inspires positivity and celebrates the richness of our multicultural society. The LMHR campaign has a renewed importance with the increase in fascism, racism, islamophobia, antimigrant and homophobia. We think its time to reignite our national movement against racism through music. We will be hosting Local Music and arts

We'll be drawing on ._ incredible work with Love Music Hate Racism Luton, and on , the Fun Palaces Campaigns Co-ordinator, who weaves this into their community events all the time.
This will be held on zoom (you can keep your camera & mic off if you prefer), and it's free to join: 6pm -7pm tonight.

We had a lovely time on Monday at Wenlock CE Academy holding an Assembly and workshops for year 5 and 6.
We spoke about how Music unites us, Luton's history of standing up against hate and also sang a song together.
In the workshops we looked at why we should speak up and who we should tell. We also looked at the power of kindness and how we've carried out kind acts in our life.
If you would like us to come and do a workshop or assembly get in touch. We run them for free.
We have no doubt of the kindness in Luton and know that the young people we meet will go on to be amazing ambassadors of Luton with the kindness they share.
Luton Massive are you ready!!🔥🔥

It's time to get organised 💖
We have so many ideas and we want you to help shape what we can do this year.
Come along to our next public meeting.
We believe Love Music Hate Racism Luton has to be built from the ground up.
Meaning it doesn't belong to us but to all of us.
It's more important now than ever to be visibly anti racist and anti hate.
All the work we do is only possible with the help of those who have supported us and we give a massive thank you to every person whose been involved in this journey and our revival.
See you Monday 💖
