ππ₯ Healthy Eating Week at Preschool! ππ₯
This week our theme has been Healthy Eating, and the children have enjoyed a variety of fun, hands-on activities to explore fruits, vegetables, and healthy food choices.
π₯ We got creative with vegetable printing, using different vegetables to make colourful patterns and pictures.
π During water play, the children explored and investigated a selection of real fruits, discussing their colours, textures, and smells.
π The children also enjoyed a matching game, choosing which fruits they would like to include on their own fruit kebabs and talking about their favourite healthy snacks.
π¨ To finish, everyone had the opportunity to draw their favourite fruits and vegetables, sharing their ideas and discussing why they enjoy eating them.
It has been a wonderful week full of creativity, exploration, and conversations about making healthy choices! ππππ₯

π±π» Our theme has been planting and growing, the children have had lots of fun exploring nature and learning how things grow. They enjoyed planting sunflower seeds in bags and watching them begin to grow each day.
We have also been enjoying our new sensory garden in our outdoor area, where the children helped plant herbs and lavender while exploring the different smells and textures. πΏπ
