Fantastic today to welcome so many Year 11 students from a huge range of schools to our Sixth Form Taster Day, where our Sixth Form team were delighted to introduce our extensive academic, extra and super curricular provision, and to deliver presentations on our student leadership opportunities, school community, our Electives and mentor programme and our pastoral support. The students then enjoyed the opportunity to participate in taster lessons in the subjects and A level courses that they've selected and to enjoy meet and greet sessions in our Sixth Form hub and social time with refreshments in our LRC at break. The day concluded with an address from our Head and presentations on life beyond UGS, and the chance to meet our amazing Senior Prefect team. It's been great to receive so much fantastic feedback on the day from the students, we've hugely enjoyed meeting you all, and we're very much looking forward to welcoming our new Sixth Form cohort in September!

This afternoon, they visited the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie where some students tried the challenge to jump and hit the top of the archway - 2.77 metres!
