As a reward for all of the hard work and commitment to rehearsals, our Wizard of Oz Cast cast enjoyed a full day of theatre experiences.
The day included a drama workshop, a movie with popcorn, and a trip to see Annie live on stage.
A fantastic day and a well deserved reward for a group of students who continue to work so hard. We can't wait for you to see what they have in store when the Wizard of Oz comes to Leesbrook!

Our PE Department has partnered with ReBooted by Utilita Energy to help recycle and repurpose old football boots and sports trainers.
If you have any unwanted football boots or sports trainers, of any size, please consider donating them. A collection point is now available in Reception.
Donated footwear will be provided to students in need who may not be able to afford replacements when their trainers wear out, or who would like to take part in school sports teams but do not have suitable footwear.
All donations are welcome, regardless of condition. Each pair will be checked before being redistributed to ensure it is safe and suitable for use.
A simple donation could help a young person access opportunities in sport, build confidence, and feel included.

Year 11 Prom Shop
We will be holding our Prom Shop on Tuesday 16th June from 3:30pm until 5:00pm at the academy.
A selection of prom dresses, suits, shoes and accessories will be available for students to browse and take free of charge.
We hope this provides additional support to families and helps ensure that all students can attend prom feeling confident and ready to celebrate the end of their Year 11 journey.
If you have any questions, please contact the academy.

As our Year 11 students complete their final GCSE examinations, we would be grateful for any donations of school uniform that is no longer needed.
Donated uniform helps us support students and families across the academy and ensures that good-quality items can continue to be put to use.
We would welcome donations of:
• Blazers
• School jumpers
• Ties
• White shirts
• Black trousers
• Skirts
• School shoes
• PE kit
All items should be in good condition, with only reasonable wear and tear.
Donations can be dropped off at Main Reception or Student Services.
Thank you for your continued support.

A huge congratulations to our students who have successfully been elected to Oldham Youth Council!
This is a fantastic achievement and reflects the confidence, commitment and leadership potential they have demonstrated throughout the application process. Students were required to submit an application and were selected from young people across the borough to represent the voices of their peers.
Being part of Oldham Youth Council will give them the opportunity to influence decisions affecting young people, work alongside local leaders and make a positive difference within their communities.
We are incredibly proud of their success and look forward to seeing all they achieve in their new roles as Youth Councillors.
