I provide a creative experience to share with friends or colleagues through delivery of hand-building clay workshops.
Ahead of collecting our workshops charcuterie boards this coming week. We thought we’d give you a little hint of how the studio is looking! Tomorrow is the big switch on ⚡️
Glazing day!
When you attend a ceramic workshop, you're not just paying for the few hours spent creating at the table.
Long before anyone arrives, there's hours of preparation behind the scenes. Designing and promoting the workshop, creating advertisements, answering enquiries, ordering materials, preparing clay, tools, templates and workspaces so everything is ready for a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Then comes the workshop itself – guiding, teaching, troubleshooting, encouraging creativity and helping everyone bring their ideas to life.
But the work doesn't stop when you leave.
Every piece then needs careful drying, cleaning and preparation before its first kiln firing. Once fired, each item is individually glazed by hand, loaded and fired again, checked for quality, wrapped safely and organised ready to be reunited with its owner.
Ceramics is a slow process, and every finished piece represents many hours of work that happen both before and after the workshop day itself.
So when you collect your beautiful finished creation, you're holding not just the piece you made, but the time, care, skill and countless behind-the-scenes hours that helped bring it to life. 🤍

Join us for a fun and relaxing 2-hour session where you’ll design and create your very own ceramic mug from scratch. Using simple hand-building techniques, you’ll shape your piece and bring it to life with a beautiful selection of coloured underglazes—perfect for adding personality, patterns, or bold artistic flair.
Once your masterpiece is complete, we’ll carefully fire and finish it with a glossy, food-safe clear glaze, transforming it into a durable, functional mug you can use and treasure every day. Your finished piece will be ready for collection in approximately 6–8 weeks, and we’ll be in touch as soon as it’s ready.
Enjoy a warm, welcoming atmosphere with complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits as you create, chat, and unwind.
No experience needed—just bring your imagination!
Spaces are limited, so book your spot and craft something truly one-of-a-kind.
Glazed charcuterie platter. At our recent workshop pupils learnt how to roll out, shape and form their own works. They are now back from their first firing ready for glazing - this is how they will look once glazed fired.
The making of Mold Studio! So excited to share with you the build process so far. We wont lie, it has been a hard slog in the UK heatwave but so worth it.
We are yet to finish the roof and put in a replacement window when it arrives. Then it will be onto the interior - roof insulation and electric installation. Stay tuned for updates.
Noughts & Crosses boards with little counter pinch bowl storage from our Clay Club members.
We used underglaze on the boards and changed it up using acrylic on the pieces and bowls.
Our Clay Club have been busy creating lotus flowers to celebrate Vesak this half term. We will add candles once they are dry.
