Our Summer Well session is part of the Be Well Series, created by .coach.yoga and I to offer wellbeing check-ins throughout the seasons.

We spent an hour exploring the beliefs and stories that can live in the background and hold us back. Lucy guided everyone through an introduction to EFT tapping, I led some journalling and belief work, and we finished with a gorgeous Yoga Nidra.

Do you ever give yourself a hard time over something? Telling yourself…

“I should have been better.”
“I could have done that differently.”
“If only I had done this… or that…”

Well, did you know that this could be coming from a belief, or a set of beliefs, running quietly in the background?

Beliefs like:

“I have to be perfect.”

This Sunday, as part of our Summer Well Webinar, we’re going to be focusing on beliefs. Those pesky little rascals that can quietly hold us back, particularly the limiting and distorted beliefs we hold about ourselves.

During this one-hour special, you’ll become aware of one belief that may be getting in your way. Lucy will guide you through tapping around it, and I’ll give you a practical tool to help you challenge it and begin reframing it into something more supportive and empowering.

**So, what do I actually do?**

Well… no two weeks ever look quite the same.

One day, I might be setting up for a one-to-one coaching session, creating a space where someone can talk openly, untangle their thoughts and work out what they really want.

The next, I could be travelling across the country to deliver a workshop to a room full of people, helping them understand themselves, navigate change, strengthen their wellbeing and work better together.

Behind every session and every workshop is a lot of thought, planning and writing.

I create bespoke coaching sessions around the person sitting in front of me, and I design workshops around the organisation, the people in it and what they are experiencing right now.

Sometimes I’m coaching one person.

Sometimes I’m working with 30 people.

Sometimes I’m at my desk writing, researching and creating.

And sometimes I’m on a very early train.

The setting may change, but the heart of my work stays the same:

Helping people understand themselves better, move through change and take meaningful steps towards the life, work or future they want.

That’s what I do. And I absolutely love it.

Be Well
Our next Be Well session is happening this Sunday, and this one feels particularly special.

Summer Well falls in the Summer Solstice, the midpoint of the year and a lovely opportunity to check in with yourself, release some of what may be holding you back and think about how you would like the rest of the year to feel.

Lucy will begin with an introduction to EFT, also known as tapping. She’ll explain what it is and guide you through this simple technique, which can help to calm a busy mind and ease stress and anxiety.

I’ll then take you through some journalling around your belief systems. We’ll focus on one belief that you know is holding you back, explore how it may be showing up in your life and begin shifting it into something more supportive.

To finish, Lucy will guide us through a gorgeous Yoga Nidra, giving your mind and body the chance to deeply rest.

It’s one glorious hour.

Many of us start the year with intentions or set goals and now find themselves half way through the year, feeling as though they’re in the same place. I’m not saying this to make anyone feel judged or rubbish about themselves. I’m saying this because sometimes we can’t see what’s holding us back and getting in the way of moving forward. We’re not always aware of our beliefs, and small habits and behaviours that block growth. However, as a life coach with over 10 years experience, I can help you become aware and guide you into shifting these. This is where the magic happens ✨ and the life you desire happens. ✨ I am back from holiday on Friday. If you want to work with me this June, DM me. I’m lying by the pool, scrolling, when I come across a post about doing an energy cleanse before the new month begins. And I thought, it’s exactly what I need.

Next month marks two years since my mum was diagnosed with cancer. Looking back, I can see that was the moment everything changed. Somewhere between June 2024 and now, I lost myself for a while.

I’ve emotionally eaten. I’ve survived. I’ve carried grief, stress, worry, and exhaustion. And if I’m honest, it’s taken nearly two years for my nervous system to start finding its balance again.

But as June begins, I feel ready.

Ready to let go of what’s been weighing me down, ready to stop living in survival mode and ready to come home to myself.

One suggestion was to write a release letter.

Write down everything you want to leave behind:

✨ Self-doubt
✨ Fear
✨ Guilt
✨ Emotional eating
✨ Old stories
✨ Habits that no longer serve you
✨ Anything keeping you stuck

Then end with:

“Thank you for the lessons. I release you now.”

Tear it up, burn it safely, or throw it away.

Then make a commitment to yourself.

Mine is this:

“For the next 30 days, I choose myself.

I choose movement over stagnation.
I choose nourishment over self-sabotage.
I choose progress over perfection.
I choose to trust that the woman I am becoming is worth showing up for every day.”

This June isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about coming home to the woman I’ve always been beneath the grief, stress, and survival.

I can feel myself winding down already…I am so ready for a holiday. ☀️

Before I switch off for a week though, I wanted to share something I’m really excited about bringing in this summer…

There comes a point where you realise healing isn’t about becoming someone new…
It’s about coming back to yourself. ✨

Learning to put boundaries where there used to be guilt.
Choosing peace over chaos.
Rest over burnout.
Self-respect over people-pleasing.

I’ve spent time rebuilding myself quietly. Healing, growing, taking back control of my life and becoming the hero of my own story.

It hasn’t been perfect, I’m doing it in stages, but it’s been intentionally.
