🌍 GIFTED TO SAVE THE WORLD 🌍

Every gift is a divine deposit entrusted by God, not for self-promotion but for His global mission. Jesus commanded in Mark 16:15: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” This is the global mandate of the gifted man: to use their abilities to proclaim Christ, serve humanity, transform lives, and glorify God.

Gifts are grace-based, not merit-based (James 1:17). They empower believers to heal, teach, lead, and transform lives. The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) reminds us that giftedness is inseparable from calling, and calling is inseparable from being sent. To be gifted is to be entrusted with the responsibility of saving the world.

Scripture shows us how gifts, when stewarded faithfully, have the potential to change history. For instance, Joseph used his gift of administration to save nations from famine. Esther used her gift of influence to save her people from destruction. Apostle Paul used his gift of teaching to spread the gospel across cultures.

Gifts, nonetheless, also carry accountability. Luke 12:48 warns: “From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required.” The gifted man must steward their abilities with humility, discipline, and integrity. When challenges such as pride, fear, and opposition come, the Holy Spirit’s empowerment ensures that we have success in our calling (Acts 1:8).

The implication for us today is that every believer is gifted to contribute to God’s global mission. Or rather, it will be a great disservice to God, posterity, and the entire world for any man not to make a meaningful impact with their abilities and leave behind a good legacy. I will talk about the disservice of a gifted man in another post soon.

So, fellow Christians, the world is waiting for you, as Romans 8:19 declares. Recognize your gift, steward it faithfully, and let it be a channel through which God’s saving power reaches the world. You are truly !

This was my church’s central focus during the Easter celebrations, and so this post was inspired by personal meditation of it. I hope it blesses you.

🧧 BLESS THE WORLD WITH YOUR GIFT 🌍

Cornelius, in Acts 10:32-35, was a devout, generous, and prayerful Gentile centurion. Though outside the Jewish fold, his prayers and giving was able to catch heaven’s attention, leading to an encounter with Peter, divinely orchestrated by the Holy Ghost, which became a doorway for the gospel to leap beyond Israel to reach the nations of the world.

Meanwhile, Peter wrestled with hesitation. Bound by cultural tradition, he struggled to accept that God’s grace could extend beyond Israel. Yet through visions and the Spirit’s prompting, Peter was challenged to step out of his comfort zone. His obedience unlocked a new dimension of ministry — one that would cross boundaries and embrace nations.

This story reminds us that being a blessing to the world would require stepping beyond our comfort zones and allowing God to use our abilities to impact societies and nations. This was what I led the congregation of CACI City Assembly to ponder on on 1st March 2026, when wrapping up my sermon series.

We looked at “Blessing the World with Your Gift” as the third and final dimension of stewardship: outward – extending the impact of your gift from service to the Church into compassion expressed in action, justice lived out in service, and witness that brings transformation for the world.

Your gift is not just for you, nor only for the church. No, it is not confined to pulpits or pews. It is a divine trust designed to shine as light in workplaces, schools, families, and nations. It belongs in classrooms, hospitals, boardrooms, and homes. They are meant to bless humanity. Wherever God places you, your gift must bring hope and transformation.

Peter’s obedience turned his boat into a pulpit and his ministry into a global witness. His miraculous catch overflowed to other boats — a picture of how gifts, when surrendered to God, bless not only us but those around us.

The world is waiting for the blessing you carry. Not just your gift or talent, but the grace God entrusted to you. Don’t hide it. Don’t limit it. Step out boldly. Cross boundaries. Let your gift shine where God has placed you!

🧧 BLESS THE CHURCH WITH YOUR GIFT 🪡

What happens when one’s gift is poured out in love?

On 22 February 2026, I continued my sermon series at my church, CACI City Assembly, and we looked at “Blessing the Church with Your Gift” (Acts 9:36-41) as the second dimension of stewardship: inward — flowing from devotion to God into service for His people.

We reflected on the life of Tabitha, a woman whose simple skill of sewing became a lifeline for widows in her community. Her gift clothed widows and strengthened the church.

Her service was so impactful that when she passed away, the church mourned deeply — and God, through Apostle Peter, restored her life, as testimony of how He honours faithful service.

Blessing the Church with your gift means strengthening the body of Christ through service, generosity, and encouragement. Tabitha’s sewing was as impactful as Peter’s preaching because it clothed the vulnerable and revealed Christ’s compassion.

Lydia opened her home to apostles, creating a hub for ministry. Priscilla and Aquila mentored Apollos, sharpening his teaching. Barnabas gave generously, sustaining the church.

Don’t despise small acts of service. Your gift may not look like preaching or singing, but when offered to the church, it becomes ministry. Each gift, whether practical or spiritual, builds unity and meets real needs.

Like Tabitha, every believer has something to contribute. When offered to God, every skill, resource, and act of generosity can have eternal impact.

🧧 BLESS THE LORD WITH YOUR GIFT 🛶

Sometimes, the most ordinary things become extraordinary when placed in God’s hands.

On Sunday, 15 February 2026, using Peter and his boat (Luke 5:1-5) as a case study, I led the congregation at CACI City Assembly to reflect on “Blessing the Lord with Your Gift”, as the first dimension of stewardship: vertical — between you and God.

Blessing the Lord with your gift means offering it in worship, obedience, and devotion. Worship is not only singing or praying; it is surrendering your abilities, time, and resources to God.

Peter’s boat was just an ordinary fisherman’s tool until he surrendered it to Jesus. That simple act of obedience turned into a pulpit for the Word and a platform for breakthrough. This means that even small acts of obedience and surrender can unlock great blessings.

Every believer has a “boat” — a skill, resource, or ability entrusted by God. When offered to Him, it becomes extraordinary. God multiplies it for eternal impact. So, identify your “boat.” Dedicate it to God’s service. Practice obedience.

Blessing the Lord with your gift is the foundation of stewardship. Once this is established, your gift can flow inward to bless the Church and outward to bless the World.

On March 01, 2026, I wrapped up a 3-part sermon series at my church, CACI City Assembly, titled:
“USING YOUR GIFT TO BLESS THE LORD, THE CHURCH, & THE WORLD” (1 Peter 4:10).

Across three Sundays, we explored how every believer is divinely entrusted with gifts — not for selfish gain, but for stewardship:

➥ Vertically – to bless the Lord in worship and obedience.
➥ Inwardly – to bless the Church in service and encouragement.
➥ Outwardly – to bless the World in witness, compassion, and transformation.

Using Peter’s boat, Dorcas’ handiwork, and Cornelius’ generosity as biblical references, we saw how ordinary gifts become extraordinary when surrendered to God. We also learned that stewardship is faithfulness, and faithfulness brings both earthly fruit and eternal reward.

I’ll be sharing more reflections on each part of the series in the coming weeks, so stay tuned. For now, be blessed by this short video excerpt from the first Sunday’s ministration. More clips to follow soon. Please share to bless someone.

Remember, your gift is not just for you — it’s for the Lord, the Church, and the World. Use it faithfully, for a day of accountability lies ahead.

May your “boat” be offered to God, your service strengthen the Church, and your witness transform the world. Love and blessings!
