NEWLY- ELECTED PREFECTS FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC YEAR INDUCTED INTO OFFICE.

Following a highly competitive and successful students election, Young Executive School held a grand swearing-in ceremony yesterday to officially hand over the power of leadership to the new prefects.

It was a grand occasion of momentous importance to the school as it reinforces its motto of providing comprehensive education to unearth potential leaders in future. In attendance were the parents of the prefects, school management, staff, old students, and a highly distinguished legal practitioner who administered the oath of office to the prefects.

The school's cultural troupe, choreography, musical group impressed the audience with fascinating performances that made some parents stood rooted to their spots.

In a very profound inaugural speech from the senior prefect, Ramzy Ofori Kwakye, he solemnly pledged to lead by example, foster cohesion, promote discipline that will culminate in high academic performance. From the headmaster, he similarly charged the prefects to hit the ground running to make an enduring imprint during their tenure of administration.

Harnessing the potentials of the pupils, YES roll out kids Sound🔊 Clash.

Last Friday, May 29, saw the exciting pupils of YES upper primary electrified a teeming audience comprising their parents, students and distinguished figures in arts and music in their first ever musical concert dubbed " Kids 🔊Sound Clash.

The eleven (11) contestants thrilled us with both olden day- gospel tunes and secular songs to the admiration of all gathered. With handsome rewards at stake, the contestants locked horns fiercely against one another for the judges to pick the most deserving of all.

YES DECIDES 2026: RAMZY AND AGNES LEAD THE STUDENTS FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC YEAR

Following the departure of the class of 2026, it was incumbent on the school to elect new prefects to fill the leadership gap left. Therefore, staff, students and parents of the candidates have to cast their votes to decide who leads the student body.

It is worthy to note that this exercise was done to buttress the school's motto: Education today, leader tomorrow' that compels us to give practical democracy, leadership and governance to the children as they dream of becoming leaders someday.

It's all fun and educative galore at the premises of Young Executive School when lovely parents of the pre-schoolers turn out massively on last Friday May 15 to read with their kids during the first edition of the 'Read With Me' program.

'Read with Me' is a uniquely designed program by the pre-school department tailored to instil good reading habits and interest in the children through their parents. Additionally, it is aimed to bridge the gap between the parents, children and the school as the key 🔑players in education.
