We are thrilled to announce that Yip Ying-yin Bella (GPA, Year 4) emerged as the Champion of the university category at the 2026 “21st Century Cup” National English Speaking Competition (Hong Kong Region) held this past Saturday, May 9.

Competing at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Yip stood out among other university finalists for her exceptional eloquence and critical thinking. Yip will now represent Hong Kong in the National Grand Final on the Chinese mainland this October/November. CUHK has also received the Most Active Participation Award. Congratulations to Bella on this remarkable achievement!
